RCMP arrest Fort McMurray man after drug trafficking investigation

The Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section, along with the Crime Reduction Unit, executed a search warrant in Gregoire on December 9th, and arrested one individual.

According to the RCMP, Noah O’Quinn of Fort McMurray is facing the following charges:

·         Storage of a firearm in a careless manner

·         Carry a concealed weapon

·         Possess a firearm without holding a licence

·         Possess a firearm together with readily accessible ammunition

·         Possess cocaine for the purpose of trafficking

·         Possession of a Controlled Substance

·         Proceeds of crime over $5,000

·         Possess a prohibited device

Police allegedly seized suspected cocaine, Canadian Currency, a firearm, ammunition, and additional drug trafficking paraphernalia as a result of the search warrant.

O’Quinn is set to appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court January 4th, 2022. He has since been released from Police custody.
