A drug seizure in downtown is leading to the arrest of a 56-year-old Fort McMurray man.
On September 2, Wood Buffalo RCMP executed a search warrant on an apartment complex on Saunderson Avenue.
There they found around 110 grams of suspected cocaine and over $57,000 in cash.
As a result, Garfield Fitzgerald Johnson was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and four counts of failing to comply with conditions.
Johnson remains in custody and is set to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on September 8, 2020.
