The RMWB is seeing no new COVID-19 cases over the past 24-hours.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced on Wednesday 19 new cases – putting the provincial total at 7,076.
Four individuals continue to have the virus in Fort McMurray.
Twenty-four people in the RMWB, 21 in Fort McMurray and three in the rural areas, have recovered.
They are among the 6,587 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents 93 per cent of the reported cases.
Meanwhile, two more Albertans have passed away from the virus – raising the provincial death toll to 145.
None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
