Fort McMurray isn’t seeing any new COVID-19 cases for a 19th day in a row.
The province announced on Wednesday 19 new cases across the province – none of which in the RMWB.
This puts Alberta’s total at 6,735.
There are no changes to the two cases that are active in the region – one in Fort McMurray and one in the Chipewyan Prairie First Nation.
Twenty-three individuals across the RMWB, 21 in Fort McMurray and two in the rural areas, have recovered from the virus.
They are among the 5,637 who have recovered across the province. This represents over 83 per cent of the reported cases.
There are also no new deaths across the province. This keeps the death toll at 128.
None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
All five individuals linked to Canadian Natural Resources’ Horizon site, north of Fort McMurray, have recovered.
No new cases have popped up since the outbreak was announced last week.
As for Imperial Oil’s Kearl Lake site, 104 of the 108 cases have recovered.
