Fairview Man Sentenced To Two Years For Role in Fort McMurray Drug Network

A Fairview man is being sentenced to two years behind bars for his role in a Fort McMurray drug network.

Gary Partridge was sentenced on Wednesday in an Edmonton courtroom for trafficking a controlled substance.

He was arrested back in 2015 after a two-year investigation into the drug trafficking network.

After a drug bust, ALERT was able to seize 7.2 kilograms of cocaine, 2,908 fentanyl pills, over 26 kilograms of marijuana, 198 grams of psilocybin, a loaded rifle with a prohibited magazine, and a shotgun.

At the time, Patridge was not arrested but did have a warrant for his arrest.

He now joins former associate Paul Ohelo who was sentenced to 5 and half years for his involvement back in July 2017.

Partridge was also fined $200 and given a 10-year firearm ban upon release.
