A multi-vehicle collision is sending two people to the hospital.

Around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, a logging transportation truck collided with four other vehicles going southbound on Highway 63 near the King Street overpass.

Wood Buffalo RCMP say the two people were taken by EMS to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre with minor non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was diverted for a couple hours while police investigated the collisions.

The accident has since been cleaned up and the highway is once again clear for traffic.
