Municipal crews are working to remove the fuel associated with wildfires in densely forested areas.
Four FireSmart vegetation projects are set to being across the region this fall.
The RMWB says crews will be removing all dead, down, and unhealthy trees, along with pruning and thining evergreens in Anzac, Conklin, Fort Chipewyan, and areas along the Birchwood Trails.
The municipality notes you may see smoke from controlled burns when this work is happening.
A total of 200 hectares of municipal land will be treated.
