Police are looking for help identifying a pair of alleged robbery suspects.

Back on July 6, around 3:45 a.m., two males approached a business near the intersection MacDonald Avenue and Main Street in downtown Fort McMurray.

The Mounties say they were allegedly directed into a building where they assaulted another male, robbed him of his money and left him unconscious.

The victim sustained injuries but is recovering and the identity of the suspects remains unknown but Wood Buffalo RCMP continue to investigate.

The first suspect is Caucasian, with a round clean-shaven face, stocky build and very short to shaved or balding hair.

At the time, he was wearing blue jeans, a navy Under Armour t-shirt, a light blue ball cap, white sneakers with black laces and a silver chain along with a watch.

The second suspect is also Caucasian with a goatee and a thin build.

He was wearing a blue hoodie with its hood up, a white ball cap with a dark brim, black pants and black shoes.

Police do not believe this was a random incident and are seeking information from the public.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact Wood Buffalo RCMP.
