A new bus route between Fort McMurray and Edmonton is being created.
Ebus, the sister brand to Red Arrow, is expanding its network to include this new service which will offer 10 departures per week – with stops in Gibbons, Radway, Boyle, Grassland, and Wandering River.
“We feel that expanding our service to Fort McMurray, a community known for its strong workforce and bustling industry, is important,” says Dean Wright, Vice President of Red Arrow Motorcoach, in a release.
“There are specific work-related opportunities in Fort McMurray and Edmonton that are not as available in other areas of Alberta, and people deserve a variety of options when accessing them.”
Ebus will start running the route on October 21 but will be accepting reservations starting on September 7.
The new route helps replace the void that was left by Greyhound after they announced earlier this year they are canceling all their routes in western Canada.
