Suspected Drug Dealer Apprehended In Fort McMurray

Alberta’s Law Enforcement Response Team has apprehended a suspected drug dealer in Fort McMurray.

Following a three month investigation, Duncan McLeod was arrested on August 8, outside a business in Eagle Ridge after police seized $2,200 worth of cash and drugs from his vehicle and in his possession.

McLeod was found with 16 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 20 Oxycodone tablets and $380.

The 22-year-old is facing multiple charges, including two counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of proceeds of crime.

He’s since been released on bail and will appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on August 28.
