Court Date Set For Semi Driver Involved In Humboldt Broncos Bus Crash

A court date has been set in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash investigation.

29-year-old Jaskirat Sidhu will be in Melfort Provincial Court Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Sidhu is facing 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

On April 6, the Broncos bus collided with the semi tractor-trailer unit Sidhu was driving, killing 16 members of the team, including Fort McMurray native Parker Tobin, and injuring 13 others.

Sidhu was uninjured in the collision.
