The municipality is extending the 2018 census by a month.
The count was supposed to wrap up at the end of June, but to ensure no dwellings are missed, it will now run until July 31.
As of Thursday morning, over 111, 000 people had been counted – which equates to $22,299,600 in grant funding.
The RMWB says residents can expect numbers to fluctuate over the coming weeks as the team finalizes the count
This is the first census the region has conducted since 2015 and will reflect the impact that the Horse River wildfire has had on the population.
