The next season of the Amazing Race Canada will have some familiar faces on it.

Co-Founders of Northern Elite Dylan Elias and Kwame Osei will be part of this year’s competition after being nominated by an anonymous person.

After sending in a demo tape, the two were chosen for being “Heroes of the Community.”

“That’s something we never thought of ourselves,” said Elias. “To hear that from the outside, directed at us – it’s humbling.”

Neither were big fans of the Amazing Race – both binge-watching multiple┬áseasons to get a better understanding of the show.

The two aren’t allowed to give any details, avoiding any possible spoilers, but they were able to share their experiences of getting a chance to see different parts of Canada.

“We got to travel across the country, can’t say specifically where or how many cities, but it made me a lot more appreciative of this wonderful country we live in,” said Osei.

For those who decide to watch, Osei says viewers can expect to see the same two personalities people are accustomed to across the community.

“Prior to even going to the show, Dylan and I, we had a talk and said we’re going to be ourselves no matter what happens and we’re going to have fun.”

Multiple viewing parties are being planned where people can contribute funds to help kids play football through Northern Elite.

Season six gets underway on July 3.
