Not much will be changing in terms of leadership with the McMurray Métis Local 1935.
At their annual general meeting on Saturday, the group re-elected Gail Gallupe as President, with Cindy Punko returning as Treasurer and Trudie Ann Plamondon re-elected as Secretary.
There will be one new face on the board, Gary Boostrom – who is replacing the outgoing elder Harvey Sykes.
Each director position is a four-year term.
Last month, the Métis Local purchased nine acres of land from the provincial government – where they plan to put a cultural centre.
Gallupe told Mix News back in May, the centre will include a museum for people to have a chance to learn about Métis culture in the region.
