An essential service is temporarily coming to multiple communities across the RMWB.
Alberta Health Services is bringing a mobile mammography trailer to Fort McMurray, Fort McKay, Conklin, and Janvier.
Women between the ages of 50-79 can use the screen test to help detect whether they have breast cancer.
AHS says early detection can lead to more options for treatment and gives people a better chance of survival.
The mobile trailer will first travel to Fort McKay, stationing at the Dorothy McDonald Business Centre on June 12 and 13.
On June 14, they will be in Conklin at the Community Hall.
The screen test will be at the Fort McMurray 468 First Nation Band Office on June 19 and 20.
Their trip will end with a stop in Janvier on June 21.
People can book an appointment by calling 1-800-667-0604 or 780-828-2455.
