A 26-year-old Fort McMurray Man who allegedly tried to bring narcotics into the country has been released from custody.

Bradley Michael Gaudrault was granted bail, set at $5,000, on March 22, just five days after being arrested.

Back on March 17, the Canada Border Services Agency pulled over his vehicle at the Carway Border – located 100 km southwest of Lethbridge and found 31 bricks of suspected cocaine, weighing around 31 kg.

The CBSA says this is the largest seizure ever done at the border crossing.

Gauldrault was arrested at the scene with his vehicle and drugs being seized.

He’s scheduled to make his next court appearance on April 27 in Lethbridge.
