As someone who hates showering or bathing, don’t worry I do it because I don’t like being duty, and I HAAAAATE the feeling of being stinky. I also don’t do that whole singing in the shower, or coming with different scenarios that will never happen, I am in and out in 10 mins! With that being said, I only shower probably about 3 times a week, sometimes 2 depending on busy I am, this study made me happy!
According to a new study from the University of Utah, bathing every day is actually quite bad for your health.
Not only does it lead to skin issues like eczema, but washing too much can actually damage the human microbiome (better known as the good bacteria that lives on your skin).
So what is the GOLDEN number when it comes to bathing? Science says 2 – 3 times a week is the best for your body and health.
