A Fort McMurray man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death after a vehicle-pedestrian collision killed two people in their 50’s last week.

The incident happened last Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on Real Martin Drive.

Wood Buffalo RCMP say the pedestrians, a 52-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man, both from Fort McMurray succumbed to their injuries shortly after the crash.

48-year-old Warren Anthony Graham was arrested at the scene.

He’s since been released on a cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on September 20.

With the investigation now before the courts, there is no further information available at this time.
