Transit services is changing some of its routes and schedules at the end of the month.

This is part of their quarterly update to improve efficiencies.

Some of the changes include reinstating Route 7 and 8, which services Abasand and Beacon Hill. This will replace the existing Route 4.

The Hardin Street stop is being eliminated from Route 99, which goes to MacDonald Island Park.

While Route 51 servicing Wood Buffalo will have reduced Sunday hours with the last run departing at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the RMWB is continuing with its rural service that runs from Anzac Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as Janvier on Tuesdays and Conklin on Fridays. A bus will also run between Moose Island (Fort Chipewyan) and Fort Smith every Saturday.

The changes take effect Friday, June 30.
