Bylaw Services Weekly Update Focuses On Distracted Driving

Bylaw Services is reminding you to be alert while on those roads.

The municipality is reminding you to avoid distracting activities like using your phone, eating food or doing anything that can affect your driving performance.

Photo radars vehicles will be set up from May 15 to 21 at MacKenzie Boulevard, Franklin Avenue, Brett Drive, Confederation Way, Highway 63 in the urban service area and School Zones in the urban service area.

New photo radars are at Callen Drive, Coventry Drive, Heritage Drive, Christina Gordon Public School, St Kateri Catholic School and Walter and Gladys Hill Public School.

Seven DriveSafe intersections are active including four on Thickwood Boulevard, two on Franklin Avenue and one at Confederation way and Paquette Drive.

Remember that you share the road with other drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians.
