Heineken Shows Pepsi How To Make a Political Ad (That isn’t awful)

Fort McMurray, AB, Canada / MIX 103.7

We all saw Pepsi’s ad where they tried to solve racism and inequality with liquid sugar. It was terrible to say the least, but not all politically charged ads have to be that way. Heineken made an ad where they took people with opposing view points and had them do team building exercises without knowing their differences and at the end discovered what they were and talked about it over a beer.
It showed that not every issue is one to argue about on facebook and that face to face debates on issues always work out better. You can’t convince people of anything through an internet comment.

Here’s the ad

PS: Heineken didn’t pay for this. I just really liked the message of the commercial.
