FMSPCA Temporarily Closed To Treat Sick Animals

Fort McMurray, AB, Canada / MIX 103.7

The Fort McMurray SPCA has had to close their doors while they treat sick animals.

Executive Director Tara Clarke tells Mix News a few puppies from different litres are currently being treated by an in-house vet for a virus.

The temporary closure is to allow the animals to recuperate and prevent any exposure to visitors.

In the meantime, no volunteers, animal viewings or dog walking will be available to the public.

The SPCA expects to re-open to visitors late next week.
