Trump's Campaign Manager to visit Fort McMurray Oil Sands

U.S. President Elect, Donald Trump will see his campaign manager take a trip to Fort McMurray.

Kellyanne Conway, Campaign Manager and Senior Advisor to the transition team, will arrive in Alberta on January 12 traveling to Calgary and Fort McMurray.

Conway did make history as part of Trump’s Campaign, becoming the first women to run a GOP presidential election and win. This will be her first trip to Canada since the election.

While in the community she will be taking a tour of the neighboring oil sands before attending a dinner hosted by the Alberta Prosperity Fund.

Trump has shown interest in the Keystone XL project which was pushed away by the U.S. Government, under President Barack Obama. The project would see bitumen from the Alberta Oil Sands be sent to different parts of the U.S.
