Two People Arrested In Fort McKay Armed Robbery

Two people have been arrestedĀ for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery in Fort McKay.

Back in August, Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to a home after a man robbed the occupants at gunpoint and then fled the scene.

On Friday, Police arrested and charged 30-year-old Edward Louis Grandjambe from Fort McKay and 22-year-old Alicia Christine Silva from Edmonton.

The pair are facing armed robbery charges, while Grandjambe also faces charges of identity fraud and theft under $5000.

Both suspects remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on Monday.
