Nine years is a long time, but Wood Buffalo RCMP are still searching for Shirley Ann Waquan.

The 48-year-old was last seen in downtown Fort McMurray on July 1, 2007 and was reported missing four days later. She was known to frequent Edmonton, but police still haven’t found her.

Waquan is described as First Nations, 5’3″ tall, and 198 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, a few missing teeth, and a tattoo reading “SHIRL” on her right wrist.
