Boil Water Advisory lifted for Grayling Terrace

AHS advises water users to run taps for 5 min each on cold and hot to flush any remaining bacteria// Chris Vandenbreekel - Harvard Broadcasting

One more neighbourhood can now enjoy their tap water without worrying about boiling it.

Grayling Terrace has become the second area of the RMWB to have their boil water advisory lifted. Alberta Health Services says they’ve confirmed that the water system is safe in the area.

Users are advised to still flush their taps by running them on hot and cold for five minutes each. Plumbed appliances and any water lines should also be flushed and sanitized. You can find out more about safety procedures here.

The boil water advisory was lifted for the lower townsite on June 4, while it remains in effect for every other area of the RMWB that draws water from the municipality. AHS says the advisory will continue to be lifted in phases as systems are confirmed to be safe for users.
