The most recent information from the PULSE line is that the bagsters program is not up and running, but fridges and white goods are still being picked up. Just leave fridges curbside before 3 p.m. and it’ll be picked up.
Some Fort McMurray residents are still wondering about the process to get refrigerators and other appliances removed from their property.
According to the instructions in the RMWB Re-Entry Booklet, white goods (refrigerators and appliances) and bulk items should be placed at curbside.
Residents can call 780-743-7947 to arrange for delivery of bagsters. The goods should be placed in the bagsters and then residents again call the number to arrange for pick up.
White goods should be taped securely for placement at curbside.
According to the PULSE line, the fridges and other white goods will be picked up. It is also suggested to place the appliance door-down so it cannot be easily opened.
If you need more information call PULSE at 780-743-7000.
Details can be found in the RMWB Re-Entry Guide as well found here.
