Council agenda for Wednesday meeting: re-entry and long term plans

Council will be discussing re-entry considerations, 2016 property tax, and long term plans when it meets tomorrow.

Those discussions along with one with provincial officials will be in-camera sessions after the public part of the weekly meeting.

For the public part of the meeting, administration is recommending charges, rates, and fees for the distribution, collection and treatment of solid waste, water and sanitary sewage not be applied for May and June, 2016.

Council will also hear a presentation of a rapid damage assessment tool and an update from the Wood Buffalo Housing and Development Corporation.

Council will be meeting weekly on Wednesdays at three in Edmonton’s City Hall, 1 Sir Winston Churchill Square. The meetings will also be streamed on-line at http://councilontheweb.edmonton.ca/.
