After a water line repair was completed over the weekend, the RMWB has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for an area of Gregoire.
Residences and businesses between Grandview Crescent and Mackenzie Boulevard at Gregoire Drive are being told to boil their water before drinking, washing vegetables, cooking, mixing baby formula, making ice, or providing for pets. The municipality says it wants to ensure the water wasn’t contaminated during the repair, and the testing process will be completed by Wednesday.
The water is still safe for bathing and “general use” according to the municipality.
Bottled water is being provided for residents at the South Operations Centre at 140 Airport Road.
