Local students taking public transit to school have been facing delays so far this year...

The Municipality says, while they can't control the traffic congestion between the Grant MacEwan Bridge and Thickwood Boulevard, they will be looking into the issue.

But for the students affected, the region says they need to be planning for delays, and that could mean taking an earlier bus.

As for next year, the region will be adding five new busses to their fleet.
