One man is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and a semi truck on the outskirts of our city this morning.

The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. on Airport Road, as RCMP say it looks like the motorcycle tried to pass the semi, just as the truck was making a left turn.

The man on the bike was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name is being withheld until next of kin are notified.
