Thickwood residents will get a little more active.

Canada's largest outdoor gym is ready to go.

The gym is along the asphalt trail in Thickwood and will have 50 pieces of equipment placed at four stations.

The green, black and brown equipment blends in with the surrounding trees to give the gym more of a nature look.

The gym project cost the municipality 250-thousand dollars to build.
