Why is the average temperature on Earth just right, while Venus is hotter than an oven, and Mars colder than the Antarctic? This talk will discuss the role of the greenhouse effect in setting the temperatures on the 3 nearest neighbours in the solar system. PhD Instructor Jean-Pierre De Villiers will lead the discussion. Free admission - taking place in the Doug Schmit Lecture Theatre For more information visit Louis Dingley at 780-791-4833 |
