This year Canada Day celebrations will be bigger and better

than ever in Wood Buffalo. So big that it's starting a day early!

Kim Mitchell will be headlining an evening full of music at

MacDonald Island*. It starts at 6pm running right up to the

fireworks display at midnight. The fireworks are launching from

the snye, but will be visible at MacDonald Island for all the

concert goers.

The next day is also full of music and family fun, and the

Canada Day Parade, which will be heading SOUTH down

Franklin Ave this year, begining from Morrison St. at 10am.

Then the entertainment begins on 2 seperate stages at

MacDonald Island, with music, dancing, magic, and more.

* There will be NO PARKING available at MacDonald Island.
