The students as St Anne School are raising money for Haiti relief by walking 5328km, the distance between Fort McMurray and Port-au-Prince, the hard-hit capital of Haiti. The students and staff will be walking extra laps in the school halls on the way too and from classes each day, as a tally keeps track of their progress. All donations raised will be donated to Development and Peace's Haiti emergency relief effort. You can help by donating online at www.devp.org or by dropping cash off at the school located at 101 Brett Drive until the end of the month. The campaign will begin with a group walk starting at 10am on Jan. 22nd. For more information visit www.fmcsd.ab.ca |
