Wednesday, July 1st is packed with all kinds of Canada Day celebrations in the RMWB.

It starts at 7:30am with the Multicultural Associations Pancake Breakfast at the United Church parking lot downtown. The the Big Spirit Canada Day Parade with begin at 10am at Reidel Street, ending at MacDonald Island.

Then all the action at the Snye Park begins at Noon with the Opening Ceremonies. All afternoon throughout the Snye Park and along Morimoto Drive to Borealis Park Canada Day events are happening for the whole family. Featured events include Vendors' Row, Cultural Entertainment, Children's Activities Tent, and the Taste of the Region.

At 6pm the Canada ROCKS Concert celebrating Wood Buffalo BIG SPIRIT begins on the Syncrude Main stage. Performing on satge will be Juno Awards Winner Sam Roberts, Matt Mays, Dustin Bental, and Tupelo Honey. Four BIG acts for one SMALL price.
