Jim Rome v. Steve Wilkos, Monday Night Football, The Hills and Eva Mendes
Have to tell you a story from this afternoon. Amanda had Fort McMurray Matters this afternoon and normally when she needs my help to operate the board in the control room, she’ll tell me beforehand. Today we were both busy and didn’t get a chance to talk before the show and we just ended up doing the show without talking about it before. She felt bad and while it was no problem for me at all, I like to pretend that it is. You know, just to keep everyone on edge. I joked with Amanda and told her that the next time she didn’t tell me something I would pull a Steve Wilkos.
Steve Wilkos being the baldheaded big bodyguard who used to be on the Jerry Springer show but is now has his own show (which by the way, as trash tv goes…is great!). Essentially, the show is a 50 minute build-up until he throws his chair. Which is what I was alluding to. Seen below…

Anyway, the point is the same…but I just thought I clear up the differences. I can see how Amanda thought I meant the Jim Rome/Jim Everett thing.
It’s a big TV night tonight. Monday Night Football with the Philly Eagles playing the Dallas Cowboys, which is always a good fight. However, because of MNF I can’t watch The Hills tonight (unless the game gets out of hand or I get tired of all of the frequent commercial breaks). I forgot to share my thoughts with you from last week’s episode that I missed due to last week’s Monday Night Football game and I ended up watching both episodes on MTV.ca, which is probably where I’ll go after the game tonight.
After episode four, Spencer is my new favourite character. He made me laugh about 4 times. The “she erased 3 of my shows on TiVo” was classic…interrupting Heidi at work for that? Legend. Him playing those arcade games? Awesome. I think Brody is a bigger tool, actually. With that stupid little B tattoo. Yes, Stephanie was asking for trouble by confronting Brody but he should’ve taken the high road, with it being his boy’s birthday and all. Plus, jail? Stay classy, B.
By the way, they should change the name of this show from “The Hills” to “some rich white kid’s birthday party gets ruined”. And how much of a scab is Audrina’s boyfriend? My God. Her, her white choppers and her botched surgically augmented chesticles could do way better. But if that’s all it takes to go big buck hunting for some 8-car pile-up honey like Aud..then thanks for the blueprint. But I guess Daddy’s trust fund and T-bills also help.
Anyway, I’ll have more tomorrow.
