You’re getting a chance to learn more about the region’s potentially new ‘Social Sustainability Plan.’
The municipality and the community-based Project Advisory Committee have been developing the draft plan for the past several months.
The idea of the SSP is to outline priorities, strategies, and actions to improve everyone’s quality of life.
Residents, council members, representatives from the education sector, health services, social profits, community organizations, industry, and Indigenous partners have given their input on the matter.
On Friday and Saturday, residents will get a chance to share thoughts and discuss the draft with members of the project team.
Anyone interested can go to MacDonald Island on Friday, April 13, from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30: p.m. or Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
