I know right! When I read that headline too I was shoooooked! There is no way Taco Bell is the healthiest fast food place…but it’s true!

“Taco Bell’s dietitian and product developer, Missy Nelson, played a huge role in the improvements to the menu. (Yes, Taco Bell has a dietitian.) Since she joined the company, it focuses on serving all natural ingredients, has switched over to cage-free eggs, and has made a 15 percent reduction in sodium across all menu items.”
Essentially, they aim to give their customer a choice between classic options and something that’s healthier but still just as quick and tasty. They also offer a “high protein ‘Cantina’ menu, a low-calorie ‘Fresco’ menu, and a vegetarian menu certified by the American Vegetarian Association.”
