The Bouchier group has returned to 100 per cent ownership.
After a five-year partnership with Carillion PLC, the Fort McKay based company has repurchased the UK construction firms minority stake in the company.
In a release co-owner Nicole Bourque-Bouchier says the Carillion partnership has been a positive investment for the growth of Bouchier’s business.
“The partnership has helped us widen our service offering to clients and become the region’s leading provider of integrated site support services.”
The announcement of the buyback comes days after Carillion said it has been unable to achieve restructuring and as a result, certain subsidiaries have been placed into compulsory liquidation putting thousands of jobs at risk. Carillion’s Canadian division says it is still operating as normal.
