The Northern Lights Health Foundation’s Gratitude Campaign has gotten a big boost from Canadian Natural Resources Limited.
On Wednesday, November 29, Canadian Natural donated $625,000 toward the campaign.
The funds will be used for renovations on Conklin’s Community Clinic as well as upgrades to the Continuing Care unit at the Northern Lights Health Centre.
NLHF Executive Director Cindy Amerongen says Canadian Natural has shown a commitment to health and safety and this donation is an extension of the care they have for residents in our region.
“They have consistently demonstrated that their operations benefit the people of the region and their donation to advance health care services at the hospital and in Conklin shows a great regard for our communities. We are very pleased that they have joined the Gratitude Campaign team.”
The Gratitude Campaign has a fundraising goal of $16-million to fund eight different projects.
