Mayor Melissa Blake has been awarded the prestigious Peter Lougheed Award for Leadership in Public Policy.
The award honours exceptional Western Canadians who contribute to public policy in their province, region, and country.
Blake along with three other recipients, received the honor at the Canadian Public Policy Forum’s Western Dinner in Calgary Thursday night. The evening also included remarks from Premier Rachel Notley.
The Public Police Forum says this year’s recipients all represent the motivation and ability to work across partisan divisions and functional silos to arrive at the best policy approaches for Canadians.
