Regional Emergency Services wants to help reduce the risk of fire hazards in your home.
For the 5th year, RES along with Enbridge Pipelines Inc. is conducting the Home Fire Safety Program.
Starting Tuesday, Emergency Services staff will be in Prairie Creek and Grayling Terrace educating residents about potential fire risks and hazards in their homes, as well as offering free installation of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
Since the launch of the program in May 2012, the Fire Prevention Branch has inspected about 1100 homes and installed 1200 smoke alarms.
