The RMWB is hosting another “Here For You” Information Session regarding Emergency Access Roads.
Residents are invited to learn about planned construction for roads this summer – in Abasand, Beacon Hill and Wood Buffalo.
The road in Abasand will include the newly built temporary construction access road – which travels from Abbotswood Drive to Abadand Drive.
An extension will be built from the foot of that roadway between Abasand Drive and Memorial Drive southbound.
The road in Beacon Hill will be built as an extension of Beaconwood Drive – connecting it across Beacon Hill directly to Memorial Drive southbound.
The road in Wood Buffalo will be built on the existing path that connects Woodward Lane to Wolverine Drive in Thickwood while the path will be widened and paved.
Engineers from the RMWB and Stantec will be on hand to provide a presentation and answer questions from the public.
The session takes place on Wednesday at the McMurray Experience from 5 to 8PM.
Construction on the roads would begin in late June and early July.
