The RMWB is inviting residents to participate in a survey, to create a new community-driven diversity plan.
The survey builds off summits held over a four-year period, where the municipality heard from participants that they wanted to see a new plan owned by the community as a whole.
Social Planning Coordinator, Tinna Ezekiel, says with the input from residents, they want to identify current diversity strengths and gaps in our region and find ways to address them.
The study asks open-ended questions that aim to get participants thinking about what diversity means to them.
Staff will be on hand to share the survey in person at the Multicultural Expo, February 18th, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and MacDonald Island Park, February 23rd, 3 – 8 p.m.
The survey is available online at RMWB.ca/diversity
