The RMWB raised nearly $1900 in their first ever Toys for Tickets campaign.
The initiative kicked off on December 1st and ran until the 15th.
During that time, the municipality says 248 winter maintenance zones and timed infractions were handed out.
14 motorists participated in paying off their tickets using toys. One resident even donated $200 worth of toys they had raised through a bake sale.
The toys have been donated to the Salvation Army’s Adopt a Family Program.
