The blue-green algae bloom advisories has been lifted for 15 bodies of water in the Alberta Health Service North Zone.
This includes Long Lake, just south of Anzac.
AHS says the recent weather has cooled lake and reservoir water temperatures to such an extent that the algae is no long a health concern.
Blue-green algae, also known as cyanobacteria, can produce a number of toxins that can affect the liver, digestive system and nervous system.
People are being reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any body of water.
