Students at Beacon Hill Public school are being allowed to pickup their personal belongings that were left behind during the wildfire evacuation.
In a letter sent out to parents, Principal Garette Tebay says even though remediation continues, they are opening their gymnasium on Saturday from 11am-3pm and again on the 19th from 11am-3pm for kids to get their stuff.
Specific pick-up procedures will be available when you get to the school.
All student belongings have been bagged, but they’re asking kids to not bring the items back into the school, due to the smoke exposure.
Tebay says the security gate has been made aware of the item pick-up, so families will be allowed past the checkpoint.
Last month, Father Beauregard and Good Shephard schools opened their doors to allow students to pick up their belongings left behind.
