The Wood Buffalo Recovery Committee is meeting tonight with many items on the agenda.
First they will hear presentations about the long term recovery plan as well as interim housing.
They will also be getting an update on the wildfire recovery team.
A big topic on the agenda will be the process of finding their permanent team lead of the Recovery Task Force.
Right now, Dana Woodworth is the interim leader and has said before that he believes the lead should be someone from the community, that he never had any intentions of taking the permanent role.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting at the Council Chambers in the Jubilee Centre at 6 p.m.
While the municipality and the WBRC will hold it’s fourth and fifth information sessions tomorrow, September 8th, pertaining to Waterways and tree removal in Saprae Creek.
Now you can head down to Shell Place at MacDonald Island Park, from 4 p.m. -8 p.m. or Vista Ridge in Saprae Creek from 6 p.m. -8 p.m.
