Muslims all over the world are celebrating the end of Ramadan.
This Holy Day is known as Eid Al-Fitr which means “Festival of breaking the fast.”
During the month Muslims from across the world fast from dawn till dusk while devoting the month to prayers.
Celebrations were held here in Fort McMurray, as the Muslim community gathered at MacDonald Island Park to kickoff the three day celebration.
Canadian Muslims decided to kick start the celebrations off in a different direction this year.
They have Donating $250,000 to Fort McMurray to help start their Eid Al-Fitr.
The money will be used to help families rebuild their homes which were lost in the wildfire.
